Welcome to the March edition of Eyes on the Night Sky. Each month, we hope to provide some celestial objects to study with the unaided eye, with binoculars, small telescopes and a challenge for larger telescopes. If you know what to look for, there is a dazzling array of wonders to discover.

Artists' Residencies Open for Second Round

Elan Valley Artists' Residencies Programme 2019 – 20

Applications are invited from visual artists for the 2019 - 20 Artists Residency programme in the Elan Valley, mid-Wales.  Three residencies are available - one for July - December 2019 and two for 2020. Through the arts we want to better understand, explore and engage with nature, water and issues around sustainability, as well as the rural/urban dynamic. The Artists’ Residencies aim to achieve this.
