Having submitted the Landscape Character Action Plan and developed project plans to HLF we have finally had a chance to take breath. It was a huge undertaking to get the documents ready and submitted in time and a big WELL DONE is deserved by all.
We now await a response from HLF and it gives us a chance to catch-up and finally clear and tidy the desk a little. Sheep are again coming to the forefront in the Elan Valley as the farmers look to begin the summer gather and sheep shearing. At Penglaneinon each year we open our farm shear to the public so please feel free to join us from 2-4pm on Thursday 13th July.
As to the weather we have had some glorious sunshine and as I write there is some much needed rain. During the sunshine and unrelenting heat the water is a tempting place but never forget swimming in reservoirs can be a lethal. Dwr Cymru are promoting the following video to raise awareness and safety. Let's make sure everyone goes home safely this summer.
