Penbont House Tearoom and B&B
The Elan Valley Trust for a number of years now have been working towards renovating Penbont House to ensure a sustainable future. After many months of turmoil and delays this autumn and winter has seen building works finally commence.
From those who have visited recently you will have noted a significant increase in size, with a new wing and conservatory being constructed. Our plan is to increase dining capacity for those rainy days (we only have a few...) without compromising the feel and views of this spectacular location. There will also be a room which can be enclose to allow a private meeting or event area, from which we hope to broaden the Trust's outreach on elements like nature and the Dark Skies. Plus we have new facilities for those who are less-abled both during the day and for an overnight stay.
To our overnight accommodation we are gaining four first floor ensuite bedrooms, plus to the ground-floor we are gaining an access-friendly guest bedroom with wet room.
Our goal is to make Penbont House an inviting destination, from which you can begin and end your days discovery of the Elan Valley.
We plan to be open for B&B and dining guests by Easter 2019!
