The Visitor Centre café is open for Take away only.

The Visitor Centre Gift Shop is open.

All Toilets are now open at the Visitor Centre, Elan Village, Claerwen Car Park and Craig Goch Car Park.

Children’s Playground is open.

Penbont House is open for outside catering.

Bike Hub now open for you to hire a bike to explore the estate – call 01597 810880 to book.

From 24th April, 6 people from 6 households will be able to visit our outdoor spaces (not including children under 11 years of age or carers from those households).

EYES ON THE NIGHT SKY – APRIL 2021

Welcome to the April edition of Eyes on the Night sky, where we will select the best night sky objects to discover with the unaided eyes, binoculars and telescopes. 

Elan Valley Creative Wales Fellowship Open for 2021-22

The Elan Valley has been awarded a prestigious Fellowship from the Arts Council of Wales. Applications from creative practitioners working in any art form are invited to apply for the Elan Valley Creative Wales Fellowship in the Elan Valley, Mid Wales. The one-year long Fellowship is available from September 2021 - August 2022.

Artists' Residencies Open for 2021-22

Applications are invited from visual artists for the 2021 - 22 Artists Residency programme in the Elan Valley, mid-Wales.  Three residencies are available: one for August-December 2021, one for January-June 2022 and one for August-December 2022. Through the arts we want to better understand, explore and engage with nature, water and issues around sustainability, as well as the rural/urban dynamic. The Artists’ Residencies aim to achieve this.
