Coloured and Graphite Pencils Tonal Value Workshop

This workshop covers both coloured and graphite pencils and is designed to give a good understanding of techniques, materials used, and how these may be applied to your favourite subject matter.

The main emphasis will be on the importance of tonal value in producing well balanced and engaging drawings. Aspects of picture composition, colour relationships and form will be explored.

It is suitable for beginners and those with some drawing experience. Artist quality materials are supplied for use at the workshop, and participant numbers are limited to 6.

Workshop led by local artist Dave Richards, who as a Signature Member of the UK Coloured Pencil Society exhibited pictures in London, Bristol, Birmingham and Cambridge.
