Just in case you missed our July event, here’s a second chance to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. Come to the Elan Valley Dark Sky Park and take part in fun, astronomy themed activities for all ages, including an evening observing session, weather permitting.

Elan Links History group will be asking you for your memories of the Lunar Landing on 20th July, 1969.
We will also be showing the Lunar Landing as it was broadcast on CBS and other videos related to the Moon.

After a fascinating and informative Local History Day organised by Elan Links on 30th October 2018, Project 6 facilitated the setting up of a Local History Group. This happened in January 2019 and the group have met on the first Tuesday of every month (except August) since then. All are welcome and it’s free to come along - we meet at 7 p.m.
