Elan Links: Bog Discovery Day - New Date

Collage of peat bog pictures

Come and join us for a few hours of discovery in an unspoilt corner of the Claerwen Valley.

We will be recording as much of the flora and fauna as possible.

The day includes some walking, but mostly on paths and sheep paths.

We hope to find a wide range of bog plants and a good range of butterflies, dragon and damsel-flies

This area has rarely been surveyed so this will produce useful data both for the BSBI atlas project and the Elan Links project.

No experience is necessary, we have experts on hand to share their knowledge and expertise.
