Llannerch y Cawr is a grade II* listed longhouse that dates back to the 16th century. It is located alongside the River Claerwen, overlooking Dôl y Mynach Reservoir.

The building was restored in 1999 and retains many of the original features such as the stone flooring, spiral staircase and wooden beams. Originally the building would have housed people in the upper end and cattle in the lower end! A floor was inserted above the hall to provide two storeys throughout in the late 16th or early 17th century.
