Inside Llannerch y Cawr

The building was restored in 1999 and retains many of the original features such as the stone flooring, spiral staircase and wooden beams. Originally the building would have housed people in the upper end and cattle in the lower end! A floor was inserted above the hall to provide two storeys throughout in the late 16th or early 17th century. Now Llannerch y Cawr is divided into two units of accommodation. The Upper House (Hen Dy) sleeps six, with a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a double bed settee in the lounge. The Lower House (Y Beudy) sleeps four, with a double bedroom and another double bed settee in the lounge. Both units have well equipped, fitted kitchens, comfortable lounges and are centrally heated. The rooms have been sympathetically decorated and furnished throughout. The two units are Four Star accredited with the Wales Tourist Board. Llannerch y Cawr is licensed for weddings
