11 Sat An Introduction to Photography Using a Digital Camera

The day is designed for people who wish to learn more about photography using a digital camera.  The emphasis will be on practical ways of improving both technique and results.  There will also be an outdoor session [weather permitting] followed by an opportunity to discuss issues and problems resulting from the visit. The day will be led by David and Catherine Clarke who have held a number of photographic exhibitions locally, including at the Visitor Centre. Numbers are very limited so please book early on 01597 810898. Meet at the Visitor Centre at 10am, till 4pm.

12 Sun The Mighty Drygarn

A moderate 9 mile hillwalk to the spectacular summit of Drygarn Fawr at 2104 ft (641m). Ascent of 380m with some rough ground! Meet at Llannerch y Cawr car park at 10am, back about 4.30pm.

 

18 Sat Fungus Foray

Come along on this short walk to look at the fascinating world of fungi with Ray Woods of Plantlife. Meet at the Visitor Centre at 2pm, back around 5pm.

 

26 Sun - 27 Mon Halloween Spooky Crafts

Come along and make your own scary accessories and decorations in time for Halloween. Drop in anytime between 2 - 4pm at the Visitor Centre. This is a family event. No unaccompanied children please.
