Events in the Elan Valley for March 2008

16 Sun Five Cairns Hillwalk

A fairly easy 8 mile hillwalk taking in five cairns between the rivers Elan and Wye. Meet at the Ceredigion border car park at 10am, back about 3pm.

21 Fri - 6 Apr Sun Walking in the Elan Valley

This photographic exhibition represents what you might see, depending on the season, when following the guided walk routes detailed in walks leaflets or run through this year's Elan Valley Ranger Service events programme. The exhibition is by David and Catherine Clarke who have held a number of photographic exhibitions locally. Open from 10am to 5.30pm at the Visitor Centre.

21 Fri - 24 Mon Easter Egg-stravaganza

Come and ‘eggsplore’ with our family fun quiz, starting from the Visitor Centre anytime between 11am and 4.30pm. Entry 50p per child, winner gets a BIG Easter Egg! No unaccompanied children please.

27 Thurs Children’s Critter Crafts

Come along on this children’s event and make something to take home. Turn up anytime between 2pm and 4pm at the Visitor Centre. No unaccompanied children please.

30 Sun Village Tour

A very easy one mile walk to look at the history of Caban Coch Dam, Workers’ Village and surrounding features. Meet at the Visitor Centre at 2pm, back about 3.30pm.
