5 Sat Reservoir Roundabout

This successful annual event takes place in and around the Elan and Claerwen Valleys and offers routes of 22 or 12 miles for both walkers and runners. Further details will be available nearer the time of the event.

13 Jan Sun Paint the Winter Landscape Watercolour Workshop

Learn how to paint the winter landscape. From rolling snow drifts to frost covered rocks - from skeletal trees to ice covered streams, all this, and much more will be covered in this one day workshop.

There will be demonstrations and step-by-step tuition throughout the day. Serious fun!

Project Packs and some material will be supplied for a cost of £8 (payable in advance). Details will be given at the time of booking. This workshop will be led by local artist and teacher David Ward.

Wildlife Tracking and Field Skills Course - tracks, trails, signs and cameras. Winter.

Join a Countryside Ranger to learn about the art of wildlife tracking. Have an opportunity to learn about the skills required to catch wildlife on film! This event will start at the Visitor Centre at 10am, finish at 12.30pm. Suitable for budding wildlife detectives of all ages.
