Marriages in the presence of a Superintendent Registrar may take place in the Upper House (Hen Dŷ), living room which is suitable for a small gathering.

It is advised that if you would like a wedding held here, firstly you need to view the property to see if it fits your requirements, this is a must.

As the property is let out as self catering holiday accommodation you need to contact the Elan Valley Trust Office to make an appointment to view, as and when it is not occupied or on the changeover days.

The most usual arrangement is that if you are interested in holding a marriage in this historic building then you rent the whole property, so you have exclusive access to enable you to decorate the room, move the furniture around to your taste and enjoy the occasion without time limits.

If the couple then wish to stay a few days and any other close family members in the adjoining part of the Longhouse then they are able to.
